Junkyard Quotes 3-4, Week 1

"in speckled speculation.."    --this popped into my head while driving home from the university this morning.

"The kleenex exposition of 1988 brought us many new avenues of discourse. New forms of sorrow for discerning Asian dissidents and fawning leather articulators." -- some words I collected from old newspaper clippings....

  1. Was the "speckled speculation" bit from a newspaper clipping also? the S alliteration doesn't sit well with me in this instance. It seems a bit sing-songish. I do like the word speckled though. It conjures a very "scientific" and almost "Clinical"edge. Perhaps this is because both syllables of the word contain a bit of sharpness in themselves. I can't think of the term for this at the moment though.
